Our Story
You’re probably wondering why Gottin, as in forgotten, is spelled differently. The “in” in Never4Gottin recognizes the four in’s of Mental Health: those who are in recovery, those who are in need, many who are in denial, and those who have been institutionalized for alleged mental health issues over the past millennia.
But history tells a deeper story. Institutions didn’t just confine those struggling with mental illness—they also warehoused individuals with physical disabilities. For centuries, society hid away those deemed ‘different,’ whether due to mental health conditions, physical impairments, or misunderstood medical disorders. Many were locked away, neglected, experimented on, or forgotten entirely.
Never4Gottin is more than a brand—it's a platform to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and disability. Through art and active giving, we raise awareness of these forgotten histories. Sometimes the art is subtle. Sometimes it’s bold. But maybe—just maybe—it will be enough to spark a conversation.
Our mission is simple: to spark conversations that bring awareness to those afflicted by or affected by mental and physical health challenges. That includes you—and the hundreds of millions who have suffered in the past and present, across all of history.
